both gave same warranty 1 year on battery and 6 month on drill & charger

my previous cordless drill Bosch & Makita. the price is almost double rm 700++ for 20V


do you have any experience with the product above? is it good?

Been using either Total or Milwaukee

last time i buy FIXMAN from DIY 20V x 2 battery less than RM350 .. can use for hard jobs ..

Milwaukee is the best for heavy duty
the price is

tested fixman in MR DIY. quality so so only if compare with Dong cheng / DCA.

i am not sure about their sales after service

im still using it, reliable .. just dont keep hantam without giving it some rest, else the carbon will go off, after sales can go some hardware shop .. they can repair ..

recently i bought spare FIXMAN again .. but the new stock only comes with single battery ..

But Total is okay too, not sure how long can last la. In Sabah they opened quite a few shops around, so aftersales service is quite good too.

i think its around 200 (one batt set).. still have mine until today... really nice and light. not much power but easy to use.

Should not buy anything less than Bosch. Later regret the poor performance.

yah, the one u mentioning is the 12V single battery pack i suppose, yah its lightweight, i even merge it with modified Allen-Key and bolt/nut heads easily can use to fix furnitures .. i keep it for home use only, but the 20V for field jobs

1. Dongcheng is good brand, some said equivalent quality to Bocsh..

2. I currently use drill brand Xugel. Buy from Lajada for RM100 (?) during covis. I even build hut and gazebo with this drill. Now begin loose grip however considering been using for 3 years, it really worth it.

DCA I never have experience use so no comment.

so far tested Dong Cheng. smooth and powerful. not sure can it last or not.
need to buy some branded (bosch hitachi makita) or china branded DCA Dongcheng. because for field work.

DCA only used sander, provide extra carbon brush, bought at brick shop, anything happen can just ask them.

12v for screwdriver can.... drill cannot. minimum also 18v

inside should be all 18650 battery... I think the charging circuit makes a bit difference, battery itself like eneloop vs cheap vs even cheaper rechargables. only the highend product will use the high end cells, cheap vs cheaper not much difference.

I had a 18v battery pack died, cant get a replacement, so bought another 18v battery pack, remove and replace the 18650 cells.

Bosch battery easy to get. DCA easy to get few years later?

the subpar quality of the motor will overheat if you plan to use for heavy duty reasons...but if just simple house work....sure.

you aren't going to use them for business or construct work...then, any subpar machine is good enough...and you aren't using them daily or heavy work with prolong hours usage.

batts for dca/dc are of abundance. model : lb1220-x. oem for bosch
generic rm40. ori dca/dc rm80. ori bosch rm108, rm130(gba)

suppose to get replace my bosch cordless drill battery. original cost me around rm 130/pc.

so, i decided to go for new cordless drill brushless motor.

Used to drill wall plug most of the time only? or signboard fabrication?

If drill a lot of concrete then get cordless rotary hammer and keep the existing drill too

recently, i trust china made battery. especially use Li-ion (lithium). most of the car battery made in china.

Too bad borsch only has linited tools compared to Dewalt or Miwaulkee

yah, of course cannot use heavy duty eg. wall drilling, that one I have hammer drill .. bought China brand also, got 4 spare carbons included, battery drill mostly use for woods, plastics etc only ..

all my stuffs are China made, as a construction / electrical works provider .. i trust my tools, no need branded ones

dca does have 12v rotary hammer. ADZC13Z rm200

The paling murah brushless is keelat brand.

Things like grinder and saws I only dare to buy branded ones

GSB185, brushless and cheap from a reputable brand, made in Malaysia some more

what do you plan to use this for?
why not just get a rotary hammer?

i have a cordless 12V hammer drill for regular screwing/unscrewing work.
and a corded impact drill for drilling walls/tiles.

if you want to up your home DIY game, a rotary hammer is the way to go rather than 18V or 20V hammer drill which cant really do much more than a 12V hammer drill.

My indon worker says Dong Cheng is the best, much more reliable than Bosch he previously used

now also got battery drill can open tyre nuts similar to those air pressured .. China more advanced than those branded stuffs
