inside should be all 18650 battery... I think the charging circuit makes a bit difference, battery itself like eneloop vs cheap vs even cheaper rechargables. only the highend product will use the high end cells, cheap vs cheaper not much difference.I had a 18v battery pack died, cant get a replacement, so bought another 18v battery pack, remove and replace the 18650 cells.
