That new Duke with 400cc engine is priced at $32k now.

Offroad oriented 390 adventure is even more expensive.

From how I understand the new importers, their game is marketshare. This will fuel a strong market for servicing and parts, thus lowering parts cost due to volume. So, they're not going to make a lot on sales per bike. They also reduced RE prices when they took over. Good is that we will be getting more affordable branded bikes. Other oldschool bike importers have the thinking that they won't sell many units so, might as well price the bikes high with high margin and high parts pricing to match. I guess the Triumph and RE guys are taking a gamble with this strategy and I hope it pays off for them. In the end, the buyers win.

If the price not much different than Thai price, I'll buy one, for short weekend breakfast trip.
