Hi guys. Finally my 7.2kw system is up and running.
I have a question where my single phase export to grid limit is 5kw, so what happens to the extra power if for example my system is generating 6kw and nobody at home to utilize the access?

The bottleneck is inverter size not panel size. How many kW inverter?
*
5kw Huawei inverter. So if it's showing active power generated by my panels is above 5kw (i.e 6kw), then 5kw will be exported to grid and remaining is considered lost energy?

Since everyone talking about cost, what do you all set as the tariff price in your solar app?
My vendor set it as 0.571 / kwh. Is this the same for you all?

To be more accurate u need to take the average of the tariff thst u use. But to make ur saving looks great it’s 0.571.
*
That's what I thought too. I think should be less than that if average since the first 2 tiers lower

No need to do average... prepare an excel sheet and just get the data from your solar app and also TnB as cross reference.
Calculate in excel every month.
Accurately down to the very last cents. cool2.gif
*
Does the usage graph from Tnb app show usage after deduct our feed in to grid or does not take into account our feed in?
Means can rely on the tnb graph or do they show only in the monthly bill?

You need to do some math work to get the accurate Tnb usage. Jsut take self consumption + import.

For self consumption, u need to take the app generation minus the Tnb nett export. Thst will be ur self consumption.
*
Means I have to wait for the tnb bill right? My first bill will be around 10th Feb. That’s why wondering if the Tnb usage graph can be used or not.

Tnb guys cut my power by removing the main fuse for testing my voltage (I asked them to check for some Overvoltage spike) and my solar stopped generating power. Is this normal?
So that means during day time if there is tnb outage then we also will not have power despite solar panels being installed?

north panels vs south panels, usually they peak at different months of the year. But, you will need to know which part has longer peak than the others. Mine is also north and south, with some panels on east and west too, and for my case, the north panels generated more since the beginning of the setup two years ago. The average panels on the north is 1.22MW (for each panel) and the average for panels on the south stands at 1.17MW (for each panel). That is about 50kw difference for each panel. and i have 11panels on the south, meaning to say, the position put me on  the disadvantage of 550kwh since the beginning of the setup till now.

THe reading is based on the app of my microinverter.
*
For me my South panels generate more than north ones (6 panels each) Mine operational mid Jan.
The graph is from 3rd Feb as that day was my highest yield so far

Please be reminded that a milestone date under your work plan is approaching in 7 days. Please upload the required documents on milestone “proposed installation start date” by 2025-03-11. Failing which, your NEM approval will be automatically cancelled by e- NEM system.

why pg customer all encounter suchproblem ?
upload very hard ?

pls dont make full payment to pg for new apply ,make sure they unload then only pay ...

My installer not pg also I get this letter 2-3 times. Installer just ask me to ignore it. Said they will handle

Is 260.6V too high? This is the grid voltage before it shuts down in 1 of the occurrences.

Edited, missed the 2nd part.
I'm getting 15kw while my neighbor, 26kw.
*
Usually above 253V will shut down unless your installer configure to slight higher . But 260V is considered very high

So that when there is a blackout, I can still have electricity.
which company?

That would be ideal. But the problem for most people now is that the battery system costs as much as another solar system. So currently not good for ROI.
But if money is not your concern then of course this is a good solution

What do you call an offgrid system that directly uses Solar Power to 240V and if the load exceeds the solar power , it will take the additional power from the grid without any battery/or small battery involved.
*
Isn't that's how our nem system currently works?

I see , if 7.45x 3.5 =26.075
And I getting even lower that.

My mother in law using 8.5 kwp system under Rewatts
Is getting around 16kwh today
While my 7.45kwp only get 10kwh
Both of us are at the same area

Feel like pathgreen solar panel not really good.
*
Also if your system is single phase, max output for the inverter is 5.5kw only if not mistaken. Even if your panel is 15kwp
