there is no tell or say what happens in future for solar biz..if PG lingkup or their supplier bungkus d..
same story to those china car sold in malaysia promises 10 yr warranty while we skeptical if the principle can last 5 years in this market..

I thought about buying an Ecoflow with 1kWh to cycle it thru daily to reduce the import by ~1kwh per day. the price of the thing is close to RM4-5k(if got discount).

1. need to figure out what would need up to 900wh thru the night, and need to schedule it to charge only during day time.

2. after thinking a while, probably not worth it.

3. Perhaps I need to do a transfer switch, and just manually power the Vehicle to home - to say power a fridge and or a freezer. even than it is just less than 1kwh per day... per month is just 30kwh??

the only good thing is they never chase u to make payment
what is bad about them:
1. workmanship very bad as they outsource to 3rd party installer then the 3rd party installer further outsource it
2. due to multi tier outsourcing u need to talk to 3 different ppl from different company to get things fix
3. the db box provided by them is worst than the one we seen in low cost apartment and it is so small - if u want to upgrade in the future it wont work
4. ask them about string vs micro - they say they dont like micro only do string
5. after sales - sucks to the max as never really answer question, ask them question have to wait 3 days baru respond

conclusion - dont go with solarvest

But one thing about the saving under this / atap is not fixed or predictable like nem.  Just need to be aware of that. Overall the saving would be okay.

System nowadays is much cheaper, 12.4kwp system around 45k EPP with 32kwh battery.  If cash term can negotiate for a few k more discount. This is enough for 1200kwh usage per month.

Before discount and cash rebate. Depends on your nego skill

I dunno lah buy more in a package got discount mah. Some more is micro vs hybrid inverter cannot compare also

Battery cell price already gone up 10% in China but I think local complete unit price will be absolved by importers so don't expect it to go down much.

I have not installed the costly solar in my landed home because  my monthly TNB bill is <RM50 = not worth it bc ROI is >28 years if I install a RM15k 4kWp solar system and my monthly TNB bill is RM50.
