This part i am a bit confuse. In my bill, there is a min NEM charges, RM1.90 + taxes. I have generated 9kWh more and my bill is RM6.15 (420kWh import, 429kWh export, 19days bill) . Wonder how the -ve bill and less than RM2 even possible?  hmm.gif
*
I think it's because this is only 2 weeks bill, so no tax is applied.

Pathgreen, but they seems very busy nowadays as other members here mentioned the progress has been quite slow lately.

I read a lot from here to make decision and yes I contacted them directly.

Just got proper Nov bill since installation. Only 3 weeks effective solar harvest as it’s been raining in the last week of Nov. This translates into RM13.65. My system is 7.2 kWh. Not bad, right?

23k is cash or 60month EPP?
*

23K cash and also EPP, but I paid RM4000 cash, EPP for balance RM19,000. Because 4000 later on solaris refunded 😊

i think they very flexible..
even after installation.. the sales bring the credit card machine to my house next day for payment  laugh.gif
*
Indeed PG is very flexible.
They brought the credit card machine to KLIA, waiting for my arrival from India, managed to fetch me and get the transaction done while me having breakfast before my next flight to KB 😃

Well, they were not very flexible for me. Insisted on 20% upfront before doing anything and insisted on getting the remaining 80% paid by cc installment before even start installation.
*
That’s very bad!

Hi friends, anyone knows about the ‘Nett offset’ in this bill? What does it mean and how they get this value of RM5.47 ? Just out of curiosity.
Thanks

I think... the nett offset is to zero out the -ve amount and ensure you still pay rm3 min. (Applicable for those usage less than 600kWh import). I assume this based on my bill. Your -ve is due to the forfeit kWh balance from 2024.

Oh ok tq 😊

If u notice carefully, your RM5.47 comes from the rebate icpt 7.20. But u need to pay 1.73 for the kwtbb. So u have rm5.47 in negative. (Tnb hutang u). And if u see the min charge 3.00, so the rm5.47 is used to offset the rm3, hence leaving u with rm2.45(rounding up from rm2.47)

So in other words, even ur rm3 is offset habis. Dont need to pay anything.

Thanks for this, make sense. Need sometimes to understand as I’m still new with this NEM bill 🤩

High guys, for the last two months, one of the micro inverters (PG Solar) experienced auto shutdowns. pg said it’s because of voltage surge (more than 270V). They refer TNB which came two days ago and they reaffirmed that the grid voltage is normal (238V). This auto shutdowns happened in the afternoon during peak Solar generation. TNB said it’s now for PG to solve the issue.
Anyone ever experienced similar issue? Tq

Only 1 unit shows >270V? See the rest same voltage?

Sorry late reply. Usually only one microinverter affected, but sometimes it involves all three microinverters. I believe the most affected one received the most solar power

By right, micro has individual reading unlike String inverter. How often all 3 units experience overvoltage? What did PG says?

And for those interested there is a solar show today & tomorrow @Mitec
*
not so often involving all three. PG yet to response after recent TNB visit

Remember about one of my microinverters issue, shutting down every few days. PG said it’s because the voltage surged up to 270V causing the shutdown. They’re certainly right.

It turns out that my house has over-voltage issue that caused two ceiling fans to be damaged.

I made second report to TNB. They came and eventually replaced the Insulation Piercing Connector (IPC) on the electric pole. There was also an IPC connection at the TNB meter at my house but that’s fine.

A loose IPC was the main cause of the overvoltage issue. Other possible causes include problems in the TNB grid—such as transformer issues, solar system issues (for example, many people installing solar systems in the area, leading to excess power in the TNB grid), and also wiring problems within the house.

The TNB technician who came to replace the IPC informed me that I can claim the cost of the two damaged ceiling fans by contacting the TNB careline.

The safe voltage range from TNB is 216–253V. If you have a multimeter, you can occasionally check the voltage at home to detect overvoltage and prevent damage to electrical appliances.

The voltage is my house now range between 234-248V. I’ll monitor the shutdown issue in coming days. Hopefully it’s solved.

They suspected TNB grid issue. It turns out it's a simple IPC issue smile.gif

So the ipc we can complain straight not working with 15454? Thst would be great actually coz it may reduce incidence of over voltage.

Your fan how much they will pay?
*
I called 15454 telling them the overvoltage issue. They came and did some tests which eventually leading them to change the IPC. Of course there are other possible causes.

Later I called tnb careline (also 15454) regarding the claim. They generated a report and it’ll take few days before approving my claim (2 panasonic ceiling fans, total cost RM330)

My system achieved 40.2 kWh last Tuesday. It was sunny all day, from morning until evening. The graph shape for that day was almost perfect. But then it’s been cloudy and raining since then. I’m in KB. It’s very unusual to have wet weather in April.
