Mine is 7.2kwp single phase. Very hot and clear sunny day (rarely) can go up to 35kwh on that day. Lowest if rainy day in selangor like yesterday only 12-14kwh. Average around 24-28kwh/ day in a month for me.

Fossil fuel power generation is very bad at quickly ramping up and down production eg: ramp down when there is high solar and ramp up at night. Countries with high solar production already facing this problem.

TNB need to modernise the grid if not we will suffer in next couple decades.

yeah, maybe the roof shape (orientation, pitch) was ideal to maximize the solar production. I think mine was a low pitch? 10-15 deg?

metal roofing will have a layer of insulation material so it's not just metal sheet. Perceived noise is still tolerable. During heavy rain, most of the sound intruded thru the glass window anyway. I have 20 panels installed on the main roof (there's another smaller secondary roof at the rear).
