Like most apps, every time got celebration, sales, events, etc, will update just to decorate icon a bit. That is mostly what updates are, not security 

Yes lor but forcing an update at the time need to use it, is not really convenient..

At least give an option, "new update available, update now or later?"

Not saying should be all the time like that, if the user postponed too long, then fine if want to force update first.

I usually prefer to update apps when I'm home use wifi.. lumpsum update all one shot, internet also fast.
