Why MAE keeps on updating so frequent??

When I key in everything ready to transfer some money, then my smartphone MAE pop up message --> Need to update!!!

After update, time out, all info gone, need to key in again!!!

This happen SO FREQUENTLY!

Not to mention it keep sending ads to my phone notification which I CANNOT IGNORE.

OK, end rant, no chocie lor, got to use maybank like PH.

why don't use other bank instead open tered complain about MAE/M2U?

Like most apps, every time got celebration, sales, events, etc, will update just to decorate icon a bit. That is mostly what updates are, not security

Yes lor but forcing an update at the time need to use it, is not really convenient..

At least give an option, "new update available, update now or later?"

Not saying should be all the time like that, if the user postponed too long, then fine if want to force update first.

I usually prefer to update apps when I'm home use wifi.. lumpsum update all one shot, internet also fast.

True, but if the real critical security update comes, then have to force also. Usually the update just takes a few seconds. Just press update, take a deep breath and continue transaction

If the updates are frequent to improve security features, will give an impression the app will never be safe at all, at any given time.


MY best bersangka baik would be.. their security feature is decent enough... and most the updates are to push new annoying non-security related features .
