A few questions for the TViX:
1. Do TViX upscale 480p videos to 720p / 1080i/p if we play DVDR files/avi files??
2. Does it supports DTS?
3. Which model is the most suitable for 1080p mkv files + DTS, if possible I don't want the model with internal hdd bcoz I already owned a large ext hdd.
4. Where (website/place) for checking the current prices of TViXs in Malaysia?
Thanks again for helping, sorry if I cause too much trouble, hee.. newbie here.

Bought TViX 6500, wow, very awesome machine! 720p looks great on 1080p, very good in upscaling DVD! For 5.1 audio, I used optical cable (I selected DIGITAL on the setup menu) to connect to my amplifier. Wow, watching Sweeney Todd in 1080p right now using DTS 1536Kbps track, crisp dialogue, excellent picture quality, no problems/out-of-sync/glitches at all, I changed the font (subtile & TviX menu) coz I disliked the factory font. Subtitle also played fine.

QUOTE(rx330 @ Jun 6 2008, 12:29 PM) digital... 4100 still sellin in kl ar? flee, i heard DTS kenot output in hdmi, u have hdmi receiver to try? and can teach me how to change th efonts as well? Sorry, I don't have a HDMI receiver to test the DTS track. For the fonts, just copy your desired font (.ttf file) from C:/WINDOWS/Fonts and paste it anywhere into your tvix ext/int hdd. Boot your TViX and select the .ttf file (eg: arial.ttf), then the font will change automatically, but when you reboot your device, the font will change back to the factory font if you're using ext hdd, not sure for int hdd though..
