Asking for advice from all sifus here… i have a vacant land and plan to build my dream house there…

The problem is that i dont have cash money to build it… my 2nd account epf only can withdraw about 50k+… i have some saving but i dont want to use it…

I need about 300k…

Working in private sector with income range of T20… so government LPSSA is not an option…

What option left for me? 😔😔😔 it seems like no bank is offering for this kind of loan…

What collaterals you offering the banks? If tak da, then only option is personal loan OR ah long loh 😊

In the past Alliance, Maybank and OCBC offer loans for BYO but I'm not sure now. Can try approach customer service and ask.

You can get a loan for anything provided you have a collateral.

The land grant or title is a good collateral provided it is free from encumbrances.

The % of loan to land value won't be high and also depends on location, tenure and category of land use. Interest rate is something like personal loan.

After construction completed with CF, then you can convert it to housing loan for lower interest PROVIDED is under residential land title.

Borrowers have use grant to refinance for children education, medical, working capital or other purposes.

If you follow auctions, there are many land foreclosures.

So your case is not an issue but need to shop around banks.

Approach your regular bank is the first step. They have all your banking records.
