I am using my router TUF-AX3000, not strong enough

Use my s23 ultra, 12 Pro max and desktop all getting around 300mbps+ on Wi-Fi

Ya guess so, had tried to keep change the channel until I fall asleep

And I do the speedtest with my phone infront the router

Just heard back from my neighbour.

She went to TMPoint Kajang this morning to get SWU3 300Mbps RM119. Yesterday she called 100 but was directed to go TMPoint.

Her package is/was "unifi 500Mbps - Super Value YEP 2019" + Ruby pack RM179. Out of contract.

- Quite fast. Went in at 9:05am. Finish 9:20am.
- RM119.
- 6 months free.
- Free mesh.
- No upsell.
- CS said 500Mbps speed upgrade only for 12 months.
- Not sure about SMS but order created at 9:23am. (Unifi 300Mbps - staywithUnifi 3.0 (MESH6)
- Appointment set for Monday.

She has one more "unifi 100Mbps - Special Edition" RM129 with 12 mths contract remaining for a different house but was rejected. Will try at a different TMPoint.

okay guys, quick update

rm119 - swu3.0 (contract ended) (tm point bukit raja)
apply for one time rm39 postpaid as well, will terminate right after, lazy to negotiate with the counter, I just wanted to get the thing done asap.

apply on 5 October, installation on 7 October.

300mbps boosted to 500mbps (asked the technician guy and he said it is 6 month boost, but I guess he himself also not sure what is going on inside tm, so can disregard this).

free 2 mesh wifi 6 dlink  , no onu changes even i said my onu is 7years old. he said have to initiate another ticket

plan name changed to swu3.0 in apps immediately when they done with the installation.

what interesting is, i still get the upgrade notice, and it still says I am still eligible to speed upgrade , either 500mbps permanent, or like what the bet club says, glitch 500mbps or 1gbps.. lol...

so I guess, everyone, don't miss this golden chance if your contract have ended, or even not ended, no harm trying at tm point.

It is always RM 119 SWU 3.0 6 month free + 2 mesh router(1set).
But yes, that mobile plan 1 month is to ensure you are priority customer, worth the price as SWU can gone any time.

If you only got 1 router, better ask online cs what's going on~

I can see SWU user started to get free upgrade.

i think TM will clear out those on SWU first, then non swu user

Afaik, SWU 3.0 is still a secret to the publics. TM Unifi never announce it. They only plan to offer this whenever an old loyal longtime customer want to terminate account. But they forgot the power of mouth. The secret spreaded out. Day by day, more people know. That's why some counters asked :"where did you know about this SWU?"

So unless Maxis higher up management happened to be Unifi customers (unlikely), or they browse lowyat forum everyday. If not, they won't know about this SWU.

Now we know why unifi still don't want to announce this SWU. Because they don't want their rivals to know about this.

However, TIME might already knew though. I still remember. When the rumor of SWU 3.0 RM119 appeared in here, in the evening same day TIME immediately lower their 500mbps price to RM119 as well. Most likely one of TIME management is a ktard as well. Lol

TM installer for my neighbour came already. Half an hour early. Nothing to do except drop off the freebie routers.

Deco m4 cannot handle 500Mbps (both connect with cable)

Or maybe m4 degraded, no matter what it only struggling around 340-400

Use my pc which is ethernet cable instantly 540+

Still testing, I also need newer device to test if any better, all devices on hand struggling 350-400, need lend iphone 13 pro or any recent new device to confirm if it was just my on hand devices wifi bottlenecking

Fyi, all my deco m4s connected with ethernet cable as backhaul, so shouldnt be positioning problem cos i did the test right beside the deco 🤣

Maybe my deco degraded, they are few years old already

Got sms said upgrade  to 500 , tested around 150 mbps using the black round router . Report to Tm will assign technician to check , will be charge ?

That better than mine , I got around 150mbps , setting problem ? I don’t know .

6/10/23 - Received SMS Free Upgrade Completed. But tried to restart modem & router still not able to get DL 500Mbps, UL 100Mbps.
9/10/23 - SWU 300 at Kajang TMPoint, was told only provided 1 mesh router. Didn't argue cause i used my own Xiaomi AX9000 mesh routers.
10/10/23 - Installer just came with 2 free fibrehome AX3000 Mesh routers, and he reset the Unifi port, restart Modem & Router, straightly get DL 520Mbps and UL 118Mbps.

I'm now happy customer to enjoy higher speed 500Mbps with lower price RM119

With speed upgrade, it comes with wifi speed headache for some 😬 Hardware upgrade is inevitable for some.

Need help, so after turning off the given dlink DIR-X306Z AX3000 WiFi 6 Router I do get 500mbps. But now plan to use back my ax73 router, try quick setup with all the same login and PW but keep getting no internet connection.

I not around when the installer came to do the installation, or else will ask him help to setup the ax73 as well.

@Blacktubi mind to share how to redo the setup for ax73 for this speed upgrade. Thank you.
