Yes, your router support 80MHz wifi ac, if you hold your smartphone 1 meter nearby router, it should be 500M full speed la.
But, you might need to enable NAT BOOST to get 500M, some router CPU got issues handling it without nat boost.(unsure it is enable or disabled by default).

So the speed is, MCS Index 8, 453 Mbps the most you can get after 1 wall.

If the person is watching tiktok or YouTube, it will be 100M used by your neighbor, left with 353 Mbps for you.
If count in the overhead of 2 router communication with each other, it will be much slower.

So, it is normal you get 300M without putting your smartphone on top of your WiFi router.

Just got update from my friend that went to unifi store klcc just now.

he just subs for unifi 100 mbps for 139 early this year on feb and now enjoy 300 mbps.

he tried to get SWU, tak lepas, and the lady in the store even ask "mana awk tau pakej ni eh?"

i guess the theory, how long contract last plays the part as well.
and he also commented how the unifi store lady treat him.
i recommend him to try ioi unifi store and see his luck

Wahh don't know what to say.. made an appointment for swu3.0 today, then early morning received a call from contractor asking what router am I using, and I told the contractor own router, then he asked "like that how I want to setup for you" LOL, then I told him if that's the case just send me the router only.

Few mins later, he appeared and passed me the fiberhome router, I asked him I thought two routers? He said only one jer.. then took off the router label and tell me later 1:30 will upgrade you from system. That's all and he cabut ..

Actually there's nothing to setup. Especially if you are using own router. No need to touch the setup. Just switch off and on. Settled

I think that contractor was joking, or he was simply lazy to setup new router. He even brought only one router, so that he didn't need to setup mesh for the client. Lol.
