They promised cheaper price, RM10/20 cheaper still consider cheaper. 😅
*
RM10 more a month is not cheaper.

Hey, how come there's no talk about subscribers not getting compensation for the months of March to September when wholesale price dropped?

But 25th month onwards it's no longer "RM89" instead it's RM119 as usual.
*
Don't worry about 25th month.
By then will probably get SWU 4.0 or 5.0

Sorry I not talking about SWU but the new pricing. According to Lowyat.net report, existing customer with expired contract can switch to the lower plan if they do not want the speed upgrade.
*
100Mbps is the new lowest speed.
So, there is no downgrade path for you.
Your best option is to get SWU 3.0 100Mbps @ RM89 free 3 months subscription
Average cost = RM77.90 over the contract period

Alternatively...

Take the SWU 3.0 300Mbps (500Mbps free uograde) @ RM119 free 6 months subscription, free router
Average cost = RM89.25 over 24 months,

99.999% chatter here is about SWU or speed upgrades.
There's next to no talk about new subscriber experiences?
I think I saw one post some 10-15 pages back...

if your IC/business ID matches, AND there is a pending order in system, you should already be able to track.
*
The app keeps asking me to complete validation with Unifi ID which I don't have.
I have previously created a profile from the desktop but could not complete as the system couldn't find my fixed line account (fixed line service only)
Now that I've installed the app it found my profile but wants my Unifi ID

At TM Point the staff said no problem. Just terminate your current plan if there is no contract and resub the new rm89.
*
Isn't there a 30 day cooling off period for cancelling and resubcribing to Unifi?
You should be getting the SWU plans.

QUOTE(soonwai @ Oct 16 2023, 02:43 PM)
Cat 5e good enough. Default meaning the one that came with router? That's good enough but short. Just be careful buying cheap cheap cable from Shopee/Lazada.
*
Hence my question on recommended cable brands

Unifi 24 hours fix actually start counting only when they start handling your case. If our case opened for 3 days and no reply yet unifi yet..too bad  bangwall.gif
*
24 hour should start from successful lodging of complaint.

Received my first Unifi bill today (first time subscriber)
Even though I subscribed to the RM89/100Mbps plan my first bill shows the monthly charge to be RM99
Can I complain via 100 number?

Could it be RM10 stamp duty since you are new customer
*
That is possible.
Calling 100 is of no use.
Kept going around in loop with recorded replies.
No option to speak to live person.

so the same treatment as usual;
charge full price for fibre line item, then apply campaign discount to match campaign pricing.
*
No discount shown in current bill
Just straight RM99

QUOTE(Xanxeviera. @ Oct 26 2023, 02:09 PM)
Due to system glitch, Missing discount RM10 for customer who subscribed unifi 100Mbps RM89 limited promo, will adjust in next bill date. Your bill cycle date is every 22nd calendar date every month. So, that adjustment for missing discount RM10 will shown in your next bill date on 22-11-2023.
*
So, I pay amount as stated in bill (overpay RM10 now) and will be adjusted in next bill?
I just want to know it isn't an error that becomes permanent.

Thanks for your feedback.

Since you have the bill now I will still advise you to lodge a complain yourself and let them investigate then reply

If glitch and tell you will backdate then at least you got a proof

You never know if they made a mistake and totally didnt include the discount
*
Reported this morning later got SMS and email confirming a technical hitch within billings.
Bill will be adjusted in following month's bill to reflect the overcharging.
