maybe try another TM point (if theres available) and try again.
normal procedure is ic+thumbprint and schedule availability date for installation on the spot.

Still don't understand the purpose of making people come to TM point for nothing.

same speed 100Mbps, but wifi6 router for plan change customers vs wifi5 router for website new sign ups 🤔

thats why skeptical to change, scare they flip roti canai say keep using ur current wifi5 router.

also their AZ-Tech wifi5 tm router is trash.

Rm69 30Mbps more than enough.
For my case just installed 2-3weeks ago.
3 phone, 1pc, 1 tv box.
All phones just surfing jer no hog bandwidth unless download update from google play store.
TV box at most hog 8Mbps bandwidth for 1080p movie.
PC also same like phone if just surfing.

Its just that the router they give kinda crap, planning to replace with TP-Link's next week.

True, 30mbps a bit low standard for today's speed.
If TM announce perpaduan subscribers upgrade to 50mbps speed I also happy, but kena hard stuck 30mbps for now.
Can add rm20 more for 100mbps but decided not to let TM earn my money, save rm480 for 2 years wei 😅

Even my friend say 500mbps a bit overkill, but still convinced him to change to SWU3.0 rm119. Why? Because he is currently paying rm208 monthly, which at this point is just paying TM blindly or some people say, become waterfish.
Luckily he out of contract so I intro him, help him save some money.

If not wrong 300mbps gobind era, then later kena upgrade 500mbps permanent.

He all this while pay too much la in my opinion, 300mbps is the sweet spot speed for his family. But kena "free upgrade" to 500mbps without reducing the price feels like kena scam to me.

Update on friend's installation today.
He got 2 unit Fiberhome SR1041F mesh router, use 1 to replace old dlink tm router, another one keep as spare since he still using Deco M4 as wireless AP.
Speedtest around 490-500mbps.
Didn't replace ONU since still relatively new (<1year)

The black tin router is long overdue for replacement, also known to have many issues.
Need to check with the tm installer tomorrow and try to insist to get new router.

speed same like yours, 420mbps max
Maybe thats the maximum wifi speed M4 can offer.

just checked, 300 500 800 all write ONR.
100 they update liao back to wifi5 router.

That was one of the special plan for Sarawak/Sabah, speed upgrade excluded.
But some of their latest bill suddenly shot up to rm89 and they have been making noises about it.
