(they expect everyone to pony up their own all-ports-are-2.5Gbps solution.)
in comparison, ASUS AX86U also only came with 1 2.5Gbps convertible WAN/LAN port, while the WAN and 4 LAN ports are only 1Gbps.
so I can say, WHILE what TM is allegedly going for is minimum of what is currently available in consumer market, I DON'T AGREE with the practice. At least, should provide 2.5Gbps WAN and 1x 2.5Gbps LAN if not all 4 ports.
A 2.5Gbps LAN should be provided as well so that those who want to connect a different 2.5G mesh access point solution or a 2.5G switch downstream can do so.
Imagine you have 2.5G ONU, 2.5GWAN on router, but only 1Gbps LAN to connect to downstream 2.5G devices.

and taking cue from their current D-Link ONR; not only 1Gbps limitation on all LAN ports, but also not supporting whatsoever link aggregation protocol.
IMHO 1Gb plan is the best plan to get for now since current ONU and router missing the 2.5Gb or 10Gb port. Need wifi 7 to enjoy the faster internet more than 1Gb. My backhaul cable only cat 5e
