Just take a search on internet,and found out that Europe country got some ISP is providing 1.5Gbps or 1.6Gbps fiber plan for their users.
But so far seeing so many ISP from other country just came out with 2Gbps,and no publish speed plan between 1-2Gbps.
Looks like TM just follow the 2G path,and just going for 10G or more later.

Just an update. TM tech just left. I got a Fiberhome router to replace the DIR-850L. He also helped me to open the 500Mbps port. So, in one visit I went from 100Mbps to 500Mbps.

Speedtest by wifi, with default settings on the Fiberhome router, and up to 8 devices connected confirms 500Mbps.

No luck on getting the UPB2 Developer's Mode password, though.

Ax86U from China can use in Malaysia?

Other than no DFS channel, missing come channels and hardcoded region with no option to change,  why not?

Asus from China is not preset for Malaysia's ISP configuration. You have to manually configure it yourself.
The local Asus already has all the settings from local ISP builtin.

If you are plug and play person, buy local Asus easier to manage.

But I have this nagging problem.

WHY IS THE SPEED ONLY HOVERING AROUND 650Mbps/500Mbps AS IT PASSES MY ASUS ROUTER?

(And to have it worse, I don't know why my single-node TP-Link Deco M9 Plus mesh can only max around 550Mbps/500Mbps...)

For speed test, I only use the clients built-in RT-AX86U or Deco M9 Plus. There is no ambiguity since it's built-in "cable" speed. And all cables involved are CAT6.

DLink is working as intended, getting 900Mbps+ (by direct to the ONR or by aggregate w/o LACP if with Asus) is good enough for me considering 1Gbps is an ideal lab condition. but i just don't trust its security to keep things out as it's supposed to, thus my insistence to have another layer (Asus in the case) as 2nd layer to protect what's should remain inside from prying eyes. i'm fine with keeping it without proof of other working "blue-collar" ON*.

but the M9 Plus AP is indeed a let down. I'm not testing through wifi; it's built-in speed test, so can consider as good as cable speed.
It seemed good when i was just using 500Mbps/100Mbps because those speed didn't expose its OKU "gigabit" ethernet....

Hmmm. I have a pair of M9 Plus that have been kept in the storeroom for quite some time. I will try to power it up by tonight and test the connectivity.

That's why for my next upgrade, I'm planning to go MEGA BIG - ONU or Netgear RAX200 or Mikrotik Chateau.

I subscribed 2Gbps business broadband only found out only provides 1Gbps for Lan1 and Lan2. Can I change the router so that I get 1 lan port for 2Gbps speed? The Unifi only provide 1 devide , fiber modem and router 2 in 1.

Guess we need to record everything down with a CCTV during installation, with voice as well lol.

Huh? What the hell is account old and clash? It's system failed la. That technician simply gave illogical excuse. Based on my experience, the system indeed need to capture the change. However, their system somehow not stable , so some glitches may happen. My installer also took a bit longer time to register my new plan. There's a couple of failed attempts due to unstable connection. Fortunately he never gave up and kept trying, in the end everything went through successfully.

It really depends on the installer whether he is willing to solve your problem or not.
