Hi again.... thanks for the info!! really appreaciate it.

Another question, are these racquet good? I like to hit the ball hard... i dont know why coz i like control alot, so I dont mind hitting hard. Besides can built some muscles on my arm hehe... maybe i just dont like to hit out too wide or lost the ball.... im just a moderate player... maybe around 3.0 got a moderate racquet head liquidmetal which is good enough but only have one raq. really tempted to get another better one, hope to improve my play to the next level. Do u think i should consider these 2 racquet? My current racquet spec is midsize 98sq/in, 285g weight, 16/18 string.

uh wait im abit confused here. if u like control, how can you hit hard ? control and hard rarely come hand in hand even with national players hmm.gif

well kblade same head size as current racquet but abit heavier 308 if i remember correctly

prestige mid plus is smaller headsize at 93 and much heavier 346g from the website but im guessing asian version will be in the region of 32x.
same part for both is string pattern at 18/20 more control through it...

main thing to note bout these 2 is do u want a small upgrade or big upgrade laugh.gif

Sorry about the confusion... i doesnt mean hit hard as in playing power tennis. I prefer topspin and control game. Maybe im trying to say hit the ball with bigger swing to generate as much power as possible. My current racquet gave me the enough control but still lack of comfort and power. Its very difficult for me to hit base line. Its normally either out or just over the net... sometimes kena net.. aihhh.. so im like wondering... should i get another racquet to try... looking for big upgrade.. wat do u think? I like these 2 racquet because its heavier than my current one(more power)... and the string pattern is better than my current string pattern thus better control.

Oh the Head microgel prestige has a midplus which is more or less same as my current racquet headsize. I like this midplus size(~98sqin) coz not to big and not too small. But out of these 2(kBlade/Prestige)... which one do u think i shd get? or is there any other recommendation out there beside these 2 with around the same spec. Im planning to get a better raq within these couple of months meanwhile i hang on to my current raquet. Trying to save money for the big upgrade.

If possible, test the racquets before purchasing. To be honest, if you're a 3.0 I think the Kblade will suit you more than the mg prestige. Kblade close to your current racquet specs, just heavier and a close string pattern. If you can swing the kblade the same racquet head speed as your current, you will definately improve with the kblade smile.gif

bro fier, I'm not from Johor unfortunately. But I've played there before biggrin.gif

Can help you check out Kblade price... today got Wilson demo day at my campus biggrin.gif. Let's see what racquet available to be tested and the price.

hi ~Battousai~,

Thanks for all the support... you have been very helpfull. Hmm i will surely will take your advice and think about it. Coz I wanna big upgrade and thinking to get a good racquet and stay put.

Yes I need a good racquet to hit winners... coz if I use my current racquet it only plays well with opponent same level as me. But if I play with player that is higher level, 4.0++ then I would love to hit more winners and my current racquet doesnt seems to help alot. Or maybe I should have practice more!! or maybe buy those big upgrade racquet that is like double my current racquet price.

Thanks!

Well, there are 2 court with 2 coach, around 10 peoples in the group. Yes I'm gripping the racket very strongly, since I feel that i can generate more power with that way. Arent our arm should be stiff to provide stronger strokes than bended arms?

hi SticH, I dun think you can do a natural swing with a stiff arm. I think should relax and swing the racket naturally and use the racket weight to produce racket speed and grip tight so you wont have a racket home-run smile.gif Your arm should be strong to swing the racket fast to generate power and spin. Correct me if im wrong, I just feel that way.

Hey the coaching is really affordable... i never join any coaching before, is it still open for registration? Thanks!
