Um, a question here. What will happen to the newbie if he hold a advanced player's racket?

Battousai, is it okay for me to buy a advanced/intermediate level of racket since I don't want to change racket every years to cope with my increasing experience, I'm a beginner btw. Other than that, I would like to ask about the fees required in this game, I got quoted rm50 per 1 on 1 lesson and that is very expansive compare to my rm5 per person in badminton (group). I am wondering, how long do I need to enroll in those private lesson and join a cheaper group training to save my dad's wallet? Thank you very much.

Is one hour sufficient? My badminton training is at least 2 hours.

Haha thanks Battousai, my dad found a cheaper group training for me, it's rm 40-50 for 4x1 hours a month. So is there any recommendation for tennis shoes with budget rm 200?

Umm, so I have 2 rackets in mind, Wilson K-factor k six-one tour 90 racket and Wilson nCode nTour Racquets. It's the best seller in this web http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/WilsonRacquets.html so which one do u think is better or maybe other rackets?

QUOTE(~Battousai~ @ Feb 9 2009, 10:10 PM) u shouldn't buy racquets just because they're best sellers.. its a series find a racquet that suits you... u guy ? then go for intermediate straight.. if girl then can consider beginner racquet..coz u'll outuse them very fast... k factor latest series.. n series previous one... n series would be cheaper but harder to find stocks.. and with k factors so cheap nowadays why worry So battousai, between Wilson K Factor KSix-One Team Racquets and Wilson nCode nTour Racquets , which is better for me? Regardless the level of the player (beginner/advanced). |

QUOTE(~Battousai~ @ Feb 10 2009, 01:19 AM) ncode n tour what model ?? ntour is a whole series Ncode ntour http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/descpageRCWILSON-WNT.html <<< lol but anyhow kfactors are newer so "better" la.. ksix one is 95 sq... u sure u can handle it ? my advice for beginner/intermediate stay with 98 or 100 first.. dont rush What's the difference between big head size racket and small head size racket? Since I played badminton before, so smaller by bit head size wont bother me . I read some comments by our own forumers that N-code series and k-factor series is similar, so maybe I can save up to rm100 if that's true by buying n-code series racket. |

Haha, had my first tennis lesson today. Just as Battousai said, although it's very very cheap(rm 30 8x2 hours per month), I dont get much running! It's so much fun and it's really easy to play with tennis, I can hit really hard with tennis ball instead with shuttlecock . One ball flew out the high fence of the court when I hit up just as the coach wanted me to do. Looking forward for tomorrow's training!
P.s: Battousai, my coach said that I hold the racket too stiff. Do you think it's an advantage or a disadvantage for me? |

Well, there are 2 court with 2 coach, around 10 peoples in the group. Yes I'm gripping the racket very strongly, since I feel that i can generate more power with that way. Arent our arm should be stiff to provide stronger strokes than bended arms?

Yes neoz , it's in YMCA Ipoh. Maybe if you do not mind waiting turns in training, you can seek around for YMCA around your area. =D
