Change both, your cross strings tension is probably loose by now.

Ashaway Crossfire 2 Kevlar 16g is already a hybrid string. Kevlar on the mains, synthetic on the cross.

Enduro Pro is all polyster string on the mains and cross though.

I've never played no.2 and no.3.

Only got experience with no.1 though. But I use the 17g instead since the cross will break first anyways (or rather almost all the time...)

16g is 16g kevlar and 16g synthetic, 17g is 17g kevlar and 16g synthetic... So for my case, the synthetic always is the one giving way... so might as well take 17g.

Main string will break first if both strings are of the same type usually.

But crossfire main is kevlar which is way tougher compared to the synthetic on the cross. That's why the cross usually break first for me instead of the mains.

My favourite tension is 60lb on crossfire though.. not sure about others.. self preference smile.gif, using a 100 headsize 16/19 string pattern racquet (npro open).

As I've said.. self preference biggrin.gif. Since I started tennis been using the same tension for both cross and mains, so I'll just stick with it smile.gif.

All self preference... My crossfire snaps monthly if I use that single racquet only.. can't afford to go for natural gut or synthetic =/ pokai la haha.

That Forten (sp) roughly cost how much?

As what ckseong80 said, mine always snap on the cross. So I always pick the 17g crossfire instead of the 16g since both will snap at cross anyways. The cross is 16g for all the crossfire sizes.

Correct, one of my racquet I always use when it is raining or the floor is wet, and it really burst on the kevlar instead. Kevlar went "hairy" then burst.

Got manufacturer warning...? Hmm, but the ashaway kevlar losses tension one of the fastest compared to the rest of the kevlar brand. Read this comparison in talktennis forum before back then.

I had knee injury before, best way is to rest though taking supplements and wearing a knee guard would help. (Damn my knee there is fair compared to my shin area. Still 3 tone now ._.)
