ok,mayb this is a stupid question.but i want to know,Table tennis stroke and tennis stroke almost the same rite?

there are huge swings in table tennis too, especially if u need to
counter a strong chop with a top spin drive.. all attacking
forehands in table tennis end with the arm above the head or
across the body similar to tennis. One thing u can bring from
your pingpong to tennis is your knee bending... all pingpong
players bend their knees... u dont stand straight while playing pingpong.
A lot of tennis players on the recreational level are lazy to bend
down a bit for their groundstrokes.

IMHO as a 1st timer;

Knees bending for table tennis is not that much compared to lawn tennis, because most of the time, table tennis player will bend their back sort of slouch to produce spin/top spin. In lawn tennis esp. old school techique its a must to bend your knees to generate power using body momentum but keeping your back straight. Another thing is, when you are trying to generate top spin when trying to return opponent flat drive or underspin/slice you have to bend your knees to maximum while keeping your upper body straight.

I had knee injury before, best way is to rest though taking supplements and wearing a knee guard would help. (Damn my knee there is fair compared to my shin area. Still 3 tone now ._.)
