well, if you wanted to share a video with specific criteria(run on specific time, hd), then the thumbnail won't work. Another reason is that when you copy the url into the status box, due to your slow internet it doesn't load well so you'll end up posting up the url and not the url + thumbnail.

have you tried posting it yourself? just to make sure im not d oni one facing this kind of thing..

Yup. Are you having a slow internet connection? Mine is okay while I only stated the reasons why it wouldn't work below.
Sometimes if the page is still loading and you put the url into it, it won't load the thumbnail

p/s: sorry, it seems like Facebook has fixed all of the youtube settings so thumbnails would work if you use a custom setting.

Have you guys noticed that some YouTube videos cannot be posted with the thumbnail and the description? Whereas if you try the same thing with Google+, there's no problem?

Which video? Mind to share the url? It isn't working for me previously as well as a member is asking about it, but I tried it just now and its working.

Youtube is OWNED by Google, and Google+ is under Google, that would explain it though

Also, some updates cannot be hidden right? Like when you add friends, answer questions, etc.?

That's weird, I get the RIGHT thumbnail + desc if I use the long url for http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vTE5yO_-Pf8...player_embedded, if its short url then the thumbnail and desc appears but its something weird.

For http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CkLiITU1kQ0...player_embedded, I get weird thumbnail and desc for both short and long url.

guys! is anyone of u able to enter needs review section? my friend tag me and im supposed to go to needs review section to approve or reject it but when i enter that section it seems to keep loading

i had try clearing cookies cache and reinstall my chrome but the same thing happen after a few hours.....

only happen in chrome my ff and IE working fine ...

I was having the same problem previously. Try to use Fb in a few weeks later with chrome, maybe its the javascript problem.

guess so ... my friend use his ID on my chrome have no problem at all arghhhh!
