had the same issue, uninstall all of your ati stuff. reboot and install back,
make sure you have dot net framework 2.0 before reinstalling.
*
Tried this b4,
same thing still happened...
uninstall and install the .net framework 2.0
then install the CCC driver,
still happen...

might just stick with riva tuner >.<

Just ditch my Zotac 8800gt and bought a sapphire 3870 from robyncom last saturday @ RM760...the cheapest i could find currently rclxms.gif ...
somehow there's something weird bout my card where it will crash while trying to run Crysis and DiRT if i overclock the VRAM thru Ati Overdrive...however it can finished 3DMark06 without any problem...

after going thru several tiring troubleshooting measures for a day, finally i manage to solve the problem...this time i overclock the card thru rivatuner and VOILA!!! it runs Crysis stable until 875/1300 without any BIOS flashing rclxub.gif ...seems i dont have the 860 barrier thumbup.gif ...perhaps the card comes with new BIOS...
further i manage to finished 3Dmark06 at 891/1300 sweat.gif
FAN 100% rclxub.gif
Max Load 67'c thumbup.gif ...
this 3870 ROCKs!!!! rclxms.gif

If you really checking regarding the "Current Clock Setting" that your GPU Clock at 300MHz, use RivaTuner Hardware Monitoring and then play a game... check your Hardware Monitoring status and you will see your GPU Clock shot up to the max you set biggrin.gif.

Hmm... so the one that you all used to do benchies all the while just free edition? unsure.gif
*
ya, noticed that~
this card is nice...
since i mostly using in surfing or watching movie,
the temp is around 46'C only ^,^
the load in games are around 65'C like that...

Haha... no wonder earlier I click on the link it was a review regarding Intel QX9770 and Q9450 processor laugh.gif.

Anyway, I rather than pick HIS HD3870 IceQ3 Turbo Edition than this Atomic OCed version smile.gif.
Mine running around 50C+/- during GPU idle and around 70C+/- when at GPU load sweat.gif ... kinda hot, isn't?
*
maybe casing air flow not good?
i am in naked rig right now,
later put in casing will know smile.gif

btw, mine one is running 830/1200 now...

Well, isn't convenient to do maintenance on one which doesn't provide motherboard tray. Especially when you have big heatsink and big chunk cards etc. Anyway, I spotted some forumers posted their casing pictures which can "slide" out the whole motherboard tray including the rear of the casing. That would be something that I'm looking for smile.gif.

actually, wat u mean is just a powerful vacum machine ^^
i have a powerful one,
just use it to sucks it,
then later use blow,
and repeat for few times,
viola, it is clean like new one tongue.gif

Ok, so tell me where the word electrostatic word appears in the Wikipedia. I've read it through and searched the word "electrostatic" but can't find it. Go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vacuum_cleaner

Can't find it here either: http://home.howstuffworks.com/vacuum-cleaner1.htm

There is however vacuum cleaners with electrostatic filtration. Go here: http://www.patentstorm.us/patents/6740144.html and http://www.freepatentsonline.com/EP0908121.html and http://www.wipo.int/pctdb/en/wo.jsp?IA=WO1...28&DISPLAY=DESC But it does so to filter the air WITHIN the vacuum cleaner, not from the intake nozzle.

Added on January 28, 2008, 10:33 pmBut I do agree that blower is more useful at times. Some vacuum cleaner allows you to blow the air instead of sucking it. Don't ever use hairdryer though.
*
Wat i like abt vacum cleaner coz mine unit got 2 function,
can use the intake to clean all the dust 1st,
then use the blower function to clean those hiding dust...
