yup...your proc...and what is the type of your ram bro?? ddr or ddr2?? but ram do not affect much...mostly the culprit is the proc..

FSB cannot determine whether your mobo support c2d or not.....


Added on February 7, 2008, 1:15 ambro, i think your mobo cannot support c2d...only up to pentium D..sorry...if u want to use 3850/3870, u need to change new mobo...

your mobo chipset..according to your acer aspire webpage, your mobo is using ati radeon xpress 200 series chipset...as far as i know this chipset is in intel d101ggc desktop board...this chipset cannot support the c2d becoz of the c2d's new microarchitecture...
