yeah...i've read since the 8800GTX, the IQ is very much improved. hmm...wonder why there's still differences in the IQ thingy? any picture comparison? heheh...someone care enough to capture a screen shot or something. any place i can read regarding the IQ?

with the GT's new purevideo2 or something doesnt it makes some possitive differences?

btw, wrong...if you pay that much attention on games, i doubt you are actually gaming. in games, especially shooters. we need enough framerates to move, aim and shoot smoothly. and high FPS cards give just that. so it is a pure gaming card.

If one was to pay extra attention towards graphical quality most of the time, he/she is not a pure gamer. one is more suited in graphic designs or movies.

benchmarking? benchmarkers should go CF for ATI cards since they scale better in benchmarking softwares so i read.

Anyways, I'm not that into IQ, because my last Nvidia was TI4200 years ago, then I got a 9600xt then this x1900xt. that's why i wasn't sure about the IQ since I've changed completely everything, like monitor which gives a huge impact too.

yeah that's why. nowadays the gaps of IQ have been very very close.
there's no point in arguing over for IQ.

did u read the other pages? of the IAX tech? it was due to the drivers. I've posted the links earlier above tadasu's.
those were the clouds as mentioned by tadasu and i've read those in other forums. Yeah, the images were taken during different time frames.

some ppl even mentioned the 3870 unable to render the clouds. that's why there's no grey thing on 3870. how's that? ROFLMAO...

actually it is ok for ppl to discuss. haha...as long as dont sway too much from the topic. because when one considering buying a new GFX (like me), would like to know more about the card, performance wise, graphical wise. since both the competitive cards price range is kinda close, so extra advantages *might* be taken into consideration.

it is good to learn some stuff along the way.
