QUOTE(User_Xp @ Jan 12 2008, 11:36 PM) looks like Ati 38xx series is interesting..i`m using 8600GT now... dump your nVidia, get HD3850/HD3870 instead... it's lower power usage, runs cooler, more silent made the card is pretty good in its class maybe plan to change the GC... sumone can tell me the 38xx series benefit? |

QUOTE(PGV3910 @ Jan 13 2008, 12:32 AM) hehe..looks like bro sniper so optimistic wif 3870 lor.. yala... btw..8600gt is so s**k dude..get 3870 like bro sniper said.now can get below than rm800 ok, used to have HD2900XT 1GB gDDR4, i must say, it's the best (for me), but the power consumption, the heat generated not to mention not too sexy looking cooler made me trade with ^666^ with his new HD3870 which is like i said in previous post... performance hit? of course i'm getting slower than HD2900XT, but still... it's better from other side |

QUOTE(sukhoi37 @ Jan 23 2008, 11:21 PM) it's HR03 Plus which is actually not compatible with RV670. erm... what do you mean not compatible? it's about the mounting?but i modded it to make it fit without any problem. the HR03 Rev A can fit, but it's using 4 heatpipes instead of 6. ya, the power cable is not long enough to route through the back of mobo. yea... the reason why keeping my HR-03 Rev. A because of this la... still can be used even with 7950GT, X1900XT, HD2900XT and HD3870 nah, i don't mind 4 and 6 heatpipes, because the cooler itself is awesome... |

even crossfiring HD3870 doesn't hurt much our pocket, not even hit RM1.8k |
