Looking for recommendation for affordable wireless printer. Mainly is to print payment vouchers etc. In a month maybe only use 100 A4 paper.
My concern is the ink replacement coz some can be expensive..
Can recommendation which brand/model that is more suitable to print mainly black and white documents? TIA

I do not recommend wireless. Prone to have connection problems.

Get a laser printer instead if it fit your budget.

If your router has USB port then it may has a print server feature.

It is better if you do your own survey and list down your shortlisted model.

coz got many gadgets to share the printers so wireless easier

Don't mind spend a bit more on the printer but the ink is cheap..
coz will buy more inks in months to come if near audit time

Yes i see the ink very cheap, 1 color about RM30

I'm using Canon G3010. Cheap refills and reliable if you use it regularly.
Just becareful of windows updates, may cause the wireless function to not work. Need to uninstall and reinstall drivers to fix it. Otherwise, happily using it for 3 years already.

Get a Brother literally any model laser printer that fits your budget and needs
It will be the best option

For the most painless wireless setup, make sure it supports Apple AirPrint and also Mopria Print Service

If you must use ink
Ink Tank printer, do NOT get ink cartridge printers
Ink tank printers are more expensive but the ink lasts way longer and cheaper
meanwhile Ink Cartridges will be very expensive in the long run

For necessary ink..mainly long run cheaper options on the ink/catridge

Personally at 100 pages per month, I dont think I would recommend an ink tank printer. Reason being you need to print every week to avoid the print head from clogging. Also these ink tank print head are not cheap. A cartridge printer like those Canon E4270 or E560 has the print head on each cartridges thus eliminate the risk of print head replacement. Alternatively you can also get a laser jet printer if you prefer faster printing speed since you mostly do B&W.

BTW, Brothers printer are slightly cheaper than Canon but their wifi printing is really slow. I have an ink tank T700 and get frustrated everytime I wanna print color pages via wifi. Hence I bought a used e4270 as backup when I need speedy printing. Just search the printer model that caught your interest on Youtube. There are a lot of printers review on Youtube by Indian youtubers whereby you can compare their printing speed and quirks.

I'm using this as well. It has a small screen which is easier to setup and troubleshoot than those without screen. Also support fax.

To be fair, windows updates is the culprit of a lot of issues. So we can't conclude its a G series issue.
Anyway, reinstalling the drivers is easy and straigh-forward. So only update windows if required and be prepared for some hiccup.

Brother DCP-L2550DW, wireless laser printer and scanner, B&W only

I had try few brand WiFi printer, so far only HP did it brilliantly, easier connect for mobile using HP smart and also Windows and no disconnection issue.

Don't get Canon or Brother, especially Brother as their apps is not smart and troublesome on WiFi.

Price range RM10 to RM35 per color
I see physical stationary shop nearly RM40 per color

Been using it for few years and never had an issue with Windows or Mac over wireless

It works brilliantly on those RM20 third party toner too

It's also a laser printer so you wouldn't need to deal with clogging or leaking issue. Waterproof too.

Epson ecotank L3250

A cheapo laser printer connected to a simple wireless router. Kaotim.
Even basic UNIFI router has print server function.
