It's good you applied earlier and don't worry too much, they do take a while to get back to you

Actually it is a malaysian problem.
Too many people jump plane then causing malaysians to have more stringent checks.
Any Singaporean automatically instant approval. Dont even need relatives in aus.

This happened long time ago, I was with my friend, and I was literally last at the immigration counter, the whole hall was empty, and they went through my occupation, asked for details, etc I provided as I have ZERO intention to jump aeroplane.. I did not realize what happened till this was mentioned.

But I do not look like one cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif

hello just wondering if anyone faced a similar problem to this? I already email to the ETA team though meanwhile i just want to get some opinions.

In the midst of my 2nd ETA application for me and my  family.

Was rejected for whole of family on 21st february . .wanted to apply again today.. but only my wife is eligible, mine and 2 kids is not eligible..

But all 4 of us was rejected on 21st february due to same reason. Is there any reasons for this?

or just some system screw up?

Make sure your documents are good. It's hard for them to reject if your documents are beautifully prepared

Have you jumped plane to Australia before

Have you been refused into any countries before

Should I re-apply ETA or appeal the current application and submit my mortgage loan document?
*
tough case. did you show them your asset? epf, banks etc.

not too sure if mortgage would prevent me from overstaying - i may just overstay earn more money to finance my property back home.

most important is still your job, try ask your employer write letter that you will be back for work.

damn, sorry to hear about that  sad.gif
He supposed to be there for 2 years, but ends up keep delaying the come back time and now after 7 years he is still there (i heard the life there is very boring and they not dare to go to the towns). I am wondering what would happen to him when he is finally showing up at the Australia airport? hiding in Australia illegally for so many years won't get extra punishment?

yes, i thought you earn enough then you come back, isn't the whole point of going there cause the money is only good when you bring back to malaysia to use?
