I got my Australia ETA processed and approved within 2 weeks. From what I learned, you need to attach as much info as possible
Show them your house, your car, your bank balance, your EPF balance, your current pay slip, your tax filing
You need to show their Immigration Officer that you are not there to "jump airplane". They are quite strict because a lot of Malaysia "jump aeroplane" there.
When it comes to Australia Immigration application process, it is one of the best in the world because at least they are clear about what they want. Don't listen to ktard that never even tried to apply for one before
