Your company is also one kind one ... sigh. If ETA is not successful, you could always apply for a visitor visa (AUD190) which my maid received approval after 48H. Good luck bro!

What’s the difference between ETA and a visitor visa?

I first time and applied via SG location with MY passport

Walaoweh smlj documents all also submitted.

Because you cannot apply for the ETA (601) through the immiaccount.

3/4 of Malaysians will get flagged for more documents. Unfortunately, the ETA App does not allow submission of documents, hence you need to creat an immiaccount to submit. Make sure you use the link in the email, not attempt to reapply via the account.

In 2022 after Covid reopening, the backlog resulted in delays of up to 6 weeks. The processing time has shorten since, so most people will get their visa within a week.

If you are the lucky quarter who don't get flagged for documents, you get it within a few minutes.

Well, hope you have enough money to convince them you are not going to jump plane.

As explained many times, they are more of looking for good reasons why your wouldn't jump plane. A secure job is probably the best reason.

They are very tourist friendly. Just not plane jumpers friendly.

Problem with Malaysians is, too many plane jumpers, they have problem telling them apart from real tourists.

It’s your passport that matters, not where you’re based bro.

They will ask in form 1554, give details of Current Location for applicant
