Ah well it's Melbourne, so who knows really laugh.gif

Forecasts say late teens to early 20s.
Probably not shorts weather, but do bring a waterproof windbreaker along.

Both the sales market and rental market are going crazy, especially Sydney. In some areas the queue to view units for rental is like people queuing up for concerts. Don't think it's gonna improve anytime soon that's why also dilemma if and when I get my 190 sweat.gif

Getting a rental in this market (even as an established tenant) is tough.

Getting one as a new migrant without any rental history will be an absolute nightmare.

I fail because of the problem with the Malaysian naming system in the passport. There is no given name in the Malaysian passport! Your whole name is your surname. So my flight booking name (based on surname and given name) is different from the passport and visa name, no valid visa turns up on the check-in. The human at the desk will need to change your booking name to your passport name, and then your visa appears.
*
I would think the visa should be pegged to your passport number, so as soon as you punch in the number into the check-in system, it should pick up your visa details.

Best to change name format to Anthony SiewFook Loke. Join the middle and last name and put the surname/first name last. No confusion. JPN allows such a format. My grandkids registered this way cos parents travel extensively (job related) and find it such a hassle with immigrations and documentations.

I think JPN just follows what’s on the birth certs.

My kids were all born overseas and their IC uses the First-Middle-Last name format.
