no, but can help abit. Is this your actual photo? the duct cover/access panel should be conceal entire to look more neat

This is not mine. But, i plan to do cabinet to cover up kitchen hood.
My another concern, do i need to find the same kitchen hood model to replace in case it's spoilt in future? This is to ensure the new hood can fit into the custom made cabinet? |

if you put a layer of rockwool 50mm thick around the metal part then cover it with 18mm plywood.. should reduce alot kua.
