Anyhow I installed openoffice's writer and impress[word and ppt],took up 200+mb.

eh! so cheap?! cheapest ever i saw in kl
but then they probably wanna get rid of their old stock, coz the new stock all with asus warranty card and official msia asus warranty
earlier stock usually warantied by supplier themselves
*
Mine came with the warranty card as well.
But they're selling it for RM50 chaeper only..Not much of a diff.

k lite codec?
i install k lite codec for video files

space got around 2.04gb( xp nlite, office, firefox, avg, file protector, ccleaner, 7 zip)
*
I installed K-lite full,AVG,WLM,openoffice,realplayer and a few more things,cant remember.
Now left with 1.9xGB. Quite ok.

Thinking of getting a 4GB SDHC but I have an external HDD,wouldnt it be better?

Hehe..As I'm thinking of getting the HDD player which can just connect it to the TV and watch my downloaded videos. Hehe

FYI,4GB SDHC is RM125 and 8GB SDHC is RM245. Sandisk brand I think.
A-data cost slightly more,4GB is RM135.

Added on January 24, 2008, 5:02 pmOh yea,to add it.. I went Digital Mall looking for case for eeepc.
The closest I could get is 12" which is about RM49.
I saw one very padded, extremely padded case for 13" selling for RM59.
Nice but a little too big.

Saw the caselogic 10" for DVD Player for RM138 in AllIT.

ah thanx for the info
hmmm
good price for the sd
tempting
u got external hdd n wanna buy sd more? drool.gif
only got 1 gb sd for me to save some games , pic, music laugh.gif

when i open eeepc at class, my fren said, " wow! dvd player?' bwahahaha
this baby doesnt have optical drive bebeh..bwahaha

wanna search for bag
hmm
caselogic for dvd player?good2
bwahaha
u could that ripoff?
i bought for rm1499
this one what u call?
bwahaha..but this price is waaaaaaaayy earlier
*
I have a 1GB SD card also.
Anyhow I don't think I wanna waste money to upgrade the RAM and to get a SDHC as I only use the eeepc when I'm in coll and cafes,so it's kind of a secondary pc.
But I think I should really invest in a nice case, saw one which is extremely padded,so I think i'll get that, but problem is that it is 13" i think.

Yeap,I read from eeepc forum that the caselogic dvd player 10" case fits the eeepc perfectly like glove. But I find that a little bulky as it's thick.

I think the best we could get is probably 11" or 12" sleeve.
Do you all think a 12" sleeve is ok?

Any of you use coolerpad for your eeepc?
Do you close your laptop right after u finish using as I usually let it cool down before closing the lid.?

Owh cause i scared the heat at the palm rest there will somehow spoil the LCD if we close straight away.

I dont have such small coolerpad for it,so i'll just use it as it is in coll and will usually wait for it to cool down then only close the lid.

Pasar malam? But those are not well padded. Haha
I was thinking that I'll just get a 12" once and make do with it.
