What do you mean by PCI-E slot and RAM cover no longer exist?
RAM solder means that we can't upgrade it?

By the way,does it come with a case as well?

I read up some sites,they were saying it has got to do with the dll. files.

Trying to install xp on a pendrive,but dont quite understand what this sentence means.

I installed nLite XP. Space used is abt 1GB + drivers.

Don't know yet, have not test it yet but it's working smoothly.
I made a mistake,its actually 600+mb for xp pro sp1 + drivers.

I need to install SP2,so do i just install like usual as in put in the cd and let it run?
Or i need to strip it down also?

I did not strip my sp2 tho..just installed it all occupied 1.31GB.
But I have problem with my wireless connection,when i connect using the default window,atheros client kept interupting my connection..if u do get what i mean..

Mine the surf version does not come with case.

And I noticed something,the white eeepc's ram is soldered whereas the black ones are actually upgradable.

Don't know as I viewed both white and black.
White RAM compartment is totally sealed whereas my black one has a compartment for RAM and it's screwed with the warranty sticker.

My xp also running well.
Those case on eBay are leather book type case or slip in case?

How do we know whether the battery is full charged?

I do not have any temperature monitoring program on my eeepc,anyone knows roughly how high is the temp?

Mine is warm at both palm rest area.
