question - to those who upgraded your rams to 1GB - how did you take off that yellow sticker?

or you voided your warranty already?
*
voided.. all my friends also voided their warranty.. seems like 512 is not enough for most of us..

QUOTE(marauderz @ Dec 9 2007, 11:18 AM)
Ok, my eeePC runs WinXP very well right now.

The main reason I did the upgrade to 2GB is not for performance issues, but rather because with more RAM it means that I can turn off the paging file and reduce wear on the SSD.

I tried to move the paging file and the temporary internet files to the SD card but... the pity is that my 2GB SanDIsk Extreme card just isn't fast enough to handle it. The system slows to a crawl when the temporary internet files are stored there.

Wonder if a class 6 SDHC card makes a difference or not?
*
i have sdhc class6.. quite laggy..but seems better than my sd card 60x
