Can always engage those who repair mouse.

I've replaced the switches for multiple mice myself. They're now in kailh 4.0 and 8.0.

Logitech is known to use shitty switches so I just replace them these days once they go bad.

Switches are also dirt cheap. Like RM 5 for 4 pairs.

Logitech already using the best switch. OMRON

Micro switch have a lifespan of a million click or lesser.

The microswitches are rated for 50-80M clicks nowadays.

Though in practical sense, they all still will get double click issue under 1-2 years, which unlikely to exceed even 1M of clicks.

I came across a theory before that it’s because it’s working at under rated voltage range by mouse makers to save power especially on wireless mouse. As a result the oxidation process happened worse than it’s designed.

Nowadays OMRON losing the throne position to other Tongsan switch makers like KAILH or TTC.

My advice after warranty is gone.

No fooking double clicks lioa

Fark mechanical switch!!!

true solution.

owned a g102, double click issue, sent to RMA, got a g103, after 1 year, double click again, then go shopee bought some better quality Omron switches (g102 use super cheap switches), solder it and no more double click ...

My average logitech mouse usage is 2yrs+. The click start to give problem. All is MX ANYWHERE 3S.

I have been using logitech mouse for over 20yrs. Lazy to change the switch nowaday. Throw and get new set.

Their OEM switches are bad. I sent my g603 for warranty. Came back brand new unit. Use for 5 months double click again. Using gm 4.0 now. Been 1 year still fine. Wait no, 2 years.
