1st of all... so proud of being a Malaysia brand but register company as Zuspresso (M) Sdn Bhd.... normally (M) is for foreign MNC who wants to identify its Malaysian branch right?? Ini orang wants to fancy fancy make people think it is a high class oversea brand...

2nd... the tagline "a necessity not luxury"..... would make sense if it is used by a non-profit company or a company that is renowned to sell at an extremely low price earning very low margin.... but Zus is just somewhat cheaper than Starbucks which makes it more of a cut throat profit margin because Starbucks is a global brand that charges high royalty + franchise fee (for the brand/global advertising and marketing etc.)while Zus is a local small fry that doesn't have Starbucks level of branding fees... which means if you take away "Branding" pricing.... Zus is literally charging the same or earning similar profit margin as luxury coffee...

starbucks/coffee bean got very expensive franchise fee because of global branding... if you sell it cheap in Malaysia your profit margin would be low....

If Zus charge the same price as starbucks/coffee bean... it means their profit margin would be higher than starbucks/coffee bean because it is a small fry local brand...

Seeing that the price is not very far off from these global brands... they are definitely earning almost similar range of profit margin with starbucks/coffee bean...

Of course this doesn't count the voucher etc... just solely talking about actually price....

Hence I can conclude that it is indeed a cut throat luxury shit like starbuck/coffee bean... "Necessity" my asshole la... want to use such tag line... better be non-profit company...

usually a brand has 1 or 2 selling point. If their first selling point is, they are local means you can just skip it. If this thing they also wrong, what will happen to the product?

why customer want to buy you just because you are "local". Customer want QUALITY product WORTH the price, not because you are just "local". Local carries no weight.

any brand has buatan malaysia or "proud bumi" selling point, they already made a choice for you to skip it anyway. Say thanks for their honesty, really.

Americano: RM7.00 vs. RM6.90
Cafe Latte: RM10.00 vs. RM9.70
Cappuccino: RM10.00 vs. RM9.70

Similar price range, Zus is slightly cheaper.
Both of them did not declare their cup size though.
