Zus is like that kid who say one thing but does another...
1st of all... so proud of being a Malaysia brand but register company as Zuspresso (M) Sdn Bhd.... normally (M) is for foreign MNC who wants to identify its Malaysian branch right?? Ini orang wants to fancy fancy make people think it is a high class oversea brand...
2nd... the tagline "a necessity not luxury"..... would make sense if it is used by a non-profit company or a company that is renowned to sell at an extremely low price earning very low margin.... but Zus is just somewhat cheaper than Starbucks which makes it more of a cut throat profit margin because Starbucks is a global brand that charges high royalty + franchise fee (for the brand/global advertising and marketing etc.)while Zus is a local small fry that doesn't have Starbucks level of branding fees... which means if you take away "Branding" pricing.... Zus is literally charging the same or earning similar profit margin as luxury coffee...
