Bos, is your Hilux all stock or have you made any modifications that could be easy for others to identify your vehicle from a glance ?

Please share the police report and also have you notified Toyota about it, so that they can try to trace your vehicle via the GPS tracker ?

If you could post the CCTV footage that would be great.

Did they (Toyota VTS Operator) provide you a screen shot of the location of the last GPS Signal from the tracker ? Please share. TQVM

Didn't the police ask you about the colour of the suspected HONDA car ? I hope the hotel worker can identify the colour of the vehicle and better still if there is a CCTV footage because the alphabets are missing.

The plausible reason are that 1 & 2 were tops sellers in their day and since the production had stopped sometime ago, so there are no parts available any longer. There are no more new Kancil carburators from the Service Center any longer, so what do you think is going to happen if the buyer wants it ?

This vehicle is a new vehicle that is not even 1 year old. Can no insurance meh ?

Nothing suspicious. An owner lost his Hilux after using it for 3 months only. After insurance payout settled, he lost Rm12k. I don't know that the payment terms on particular Hilux but it could very well work out to that figure.

This morning 5am stolen, so fast insurance payout settled everything already ke ? Read slowly and try to understand what you are reading before commenting. 12k = 50k hebat your komprehension, not to mention your imaginasyun.

What I recommend is posting on social media as soon as possible immediately after it stolen. If your Hilux is to be found it has to be within the next 53 hours counting.

Whatever you do, keep everyone constantly updated on social media. It is your only best bet now.

Impossible to do this remotely.

The recording loop is 30 minutes only. After that it gets written over. Of course that is provided the thief did not damaged the recorder.

Anyways back to your question, whether if the VTS could be used in previous model, if UMW Toyota had no provision for VTS, I doubt their Service Center is ever going to do anything, especially if they are not authorized by HQ to do so. It is the same with all other brands and their Service Centers.
