hey guys i just bought the game last night and i cant create a new profile and when i enter the options to do some setting it doesnt go back to the main menu even if you press the back key. can somebody help me out here. desperately in need of help. i tried to install the patch but it come out with some error. and i was just checking the official website where you need to do some edit to the registration binary. what the hell is that? S.O.S....helpppp

where can i find the config setting...sorry im a newbie with this kinda things.....

Added on December 20, 2007, 1:19 pmhey guys i finally got the game working.....but here's just a lil info for plp who cant create a profile and when doing settings and cant come out from the menu option, just go to my documents, my games and delete the folder gears of war for windows. and you need to update your xlive

is there any fix beside patch andediting regisitry....is so so laggy.....i cant believe an amazing game with glithes.....

any1 tried this before. according to the official website it helps to fix up some of the bugs..i tried an have no idea to go around it cuz its all like binaries code..

Change the "SetupPath" value so that the word "binaries" is capitalized. For example: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Gears of War\binaries\" becomes "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Gears of War\Binaries
