QUOTE(Alexdino @ May 20 2024, 10:58 AM) dont understand what the hype about them, this year city have not been on their best..... liverpool went 90+ for 2 seasons still second to city. agreed.. If really heart pain, Liverpool fans will feel the most against M.City fully well-oiled team at their most tiptop mood era gaeria84 liked this post

QUOTE(gaeria84 @ May 20 2024, 03:53 PM) Chill la, arsenal for 2.5 seasons flopped under arteta then finally got their act together and saw that ray of light next season M.City are the team to beat and it will take super consistent good result to even challenge them.Sure, poch isn't that winning coach that will bring us trophies, but i like the progress we're seeing here... We're building something and i'd hate to disrupt that right now This season unearthed so many near world class players like palmer, caicedo, gusto.... they're young and they'll only get better This is in stark contrast to how last time we always won something because the manager is a genius but always there's that feeling a squad overhaul and further oversight is badly needed Can finally see the spine forming, maybe some reinforcements in ST and CB role, next season i predict we will get better and challenge for top 4 I bet only Arsenal will be right there with them. Liverpool will be dark horse with new manager. I think we can and should be enough to carry onward for at least top 4 target unless Boehly want to change manager again. MU, Spur & Newcastle will be our nearest competitors again if they not sacking their manager Aston Villa need to gamble by buying reinforce for CL and hope for get run or they will suffer greatly in EPL.. really depending on what their owners wants and can achieve 2 CL spot for 6 of us. On paper is crazy hard but this season proof every clubs got it own problems to really push for consistency. I think many of us predict at least top 6 but give up during 1st half of the season This post has been edited by Iceman74: May 20 2024, 04:28 PM |

QUOTE(GravityFi3ld @ May 22 2024, 08:02 AM) No way lar..Even Boehly somehow think he will be yes man to him, Klopp got too much history with Liverpool to tarnish his status there. Besides there are others bigger clubs got vacancies he can choose like Bayern. I think Boehly want to compliance with FFP that he and his team screwed up big time until need to sell those players that Poch considered untouchable in his plan. If me, I also thinking leaving cos next season need to rebuild again. If results not good, kena blame again |

QUOTE(Taikor.Taikun @ May 22 2024, 08:48 PM) Under Poch, already can see the players n mood building in the team, can see results. But the management have problems w the manager. Already know Poch wont be the manager that stays long to build the team. Thats why i’m not so excited anymore w this club. If they want build around a growing young exciting team, me still understand they are building a new identity that marketability to all especially to US markets. The management wants the manager to report everything. They want to “influence” things, makes decision lah. In other words, micro-manage. They also seem like dont want the team n club built around the manager. They ARE the manager, not the manager that has full managerial power. Poch wants more experienced players, the mgmt wants young players. They have this vision of building a young, formidable team. This seems to give the impression they want young manager too. Anyway, get used to the fact that Boleh n his men r playing real life Football Manager Me more afraid they are cashing in those young players they just brought showing promising results to fund back those cash flow ffp problems now like those Arsenal Arsene era selling their best players to fun their new stadium. |

If he mutual termination, then he really classy and gentlemen wor.. give him some respect on this This post has been edited by Iceman74: May 23 2024, 12:19 PM |

Better set expectation low next season, good for our heart Our owners like to be "the cook" and hands on almost everything they can get their hands on. Look like they want all working for them on "piece by piece job responsibility" , they don't want any of their workers to have "big say" across alot of job scope to minimise the risk factor of replacing them in future. They want "a coach" , not a manager now https://www.goal.com/en-my/lists/chelsea-ow...c821fa2b0047f80 gaeria84 liked this post

me scare, 2nd half season later got improvement Possession : 75% chances : plenty goal scored : nil coach will feel the pressure when there is no good results and need to play "boring but winning" games expectation in Leicester is not same as expectation in Chelsea gaeria84 liked this post

QUOTE(GravityFi3ld @ Jun 7 2024, 04:44 PM) Romelu Lukaku open to Saudi Pro League <-ESPN last round big contract b4 retirement and the timing ngam ngam after Euro 2024 tim"Lukaku earns around £325,000-a-week ($415,419) at Stamford Bridge and Chelsea are keen to remove that cost from their wage bill while raising funds for new signings. The Belgium international has two years remaining on his Chelsea deal and the club are therefore reluctant to sanction a third loan move as they seek to recoup some of the £97.5m they paid Inter Milan in 2021." That would free up a quite a bit for our FFP consideration. This fella really asking for it.. last round he chicken out of the saudi deal, now he die die loud and proud want to go after see his fellow players earning megabucks there can joint De Bruyne who now vowing those Saudi to bid for him too. It either now or never for last big paycheck before those Saudi clubs found out like those day Chinese clubs giving mega deals that it just not worth it. |

QUOTE(Alexdino @ Jul 3 2024, 03:19 PM) if to balance the book in a big way, then it a logical move.I believe our owners are playing singing chairs and passing the bucket now. If you look at the EPL clubs, they are like selling and buying among themselves to balance the book. Really no eyes see to take advantage on this. Sooner or later this will be harder to do this balancing act. gaeria84 liked this post
