Hi I saw this thread only after I came back from HK. But thanks northasian for sharing the information & tips - very informative indeed. I think I've covered most of it but just the food part I went mostly street hawker food. I'll know where and what to devour next time Also thanks Stalkie for sharing your trip blog with us btw, do you have your "family room" picture to share ? I stayed in USA Hotel for HK300 per night. I don't find those "blackie" scary. I took care myself and no eye contact with them. I just find the staircase a bit scary at night because it old, slightly dark and spooky I find. Also, the lift doesn't arrive at the floor you want it's either two floor up or down. Anyway, the room is decent and clean but it's tiny- like in a prison LOL. I find it hard to adjust myself. Thank God it was just 8hours per day for sleeping & showering. G This post has been edited by genuine: Mar 29 2008, 05:32 PM

I thought of viewing from the REAL picture instead from the website cos most of time it's very different and may not get what you see from website.. anyway thanks for your reply I have uploaded mine...HKD300/night. As you can see..it's about 2-3steps from the entrance door - too confined for me it's scary. I dont wish to go back there.. QUOTE(stalkie @ Apr 3 2008, 01:10 PM) You're most welcome! The hostel website do have the picture of the "family room", you can find it in the link provided by me Like I said is not really a family size room... if a person stand in the middle of the room, he/she pretty much block the entire "walk way" of the room... haha....
