Motherboard indeed more expensive nowadays. Last time same place I can get USB-C connector built-in. Now same price but no USB-C.

all i need for next simple build is a mobo with solid caps, a few usb A, 2 ram slots, 2 pcie and onboard video.

pandemic really affects the PC part price due to soaring wfh,factory closing, chip shortage etc.
inflation whatnot this is more like bloated to the moon.
As usual when price go up,won't go down. so here you in a post pandemic world with a super inflated price like pandemic still on.

Luckily there are still components which is very cheap. Sub Rm300 motherboard still available. A most basic office pc still can be built around 1k budget.
