My 40 years old years house already comes with this thermal barrier, yup it do block direct radiant heat from the rooft shingles.

Now in some area, the barrier already crumbling down, no barrier left and I can feel the radiant heat heating up my ceiling.

My 35 years old hour already comes with this aluminium heat barrier. Comfy during hot days. But lately, the barrier base material starts to crumble down.

Can see few patches with no barrier intact.

Need to redo the barrier with new one.
