Welcome welcome to the Samsung screen green pink line light sabre club. I'm surprised so many different models from Samsung got this problem. I thought only my S22U has this exclusive issues.

Nope... it all started with Note20 right up to now S23U.
And that include the foldable phones.

Haha dang, I thought at firsty my S22U is exclusive to have this problem. Now I know it's a widespread "feature" from Samsung

I think my wife's model is Note 20 Ultra.
I got mixed up with S20 Ultra and Note 20 Ultra.

Guys, my S22 (base model) is now showing pink-green vertical line on the left side of screen. Bought it in April 2022. Never dropped it. How come? Will Samsung replace it by any chance? How does this impact the trade-in value?

I was going to upgrade to the S25, but unlikely now as even my previous S10e suffered display issues towards the end (the screen would have a yellowish tint - luckily it was intermittent and wasn't present when I performed the trade-in).

S22 base model i think not in the replacement list at the moment , u have to bear the repair cost by yourself

Try keep in the fridge overnight, maybe the motherboard overheat or the screen overheat. After that if ok faster go trade in for new Fon

Display repair very costly, better get a new phone

It so sad that India samsung can give free replacement while Samsung malaysia doing shit

I guess only for smartphones, but for tv in my case got display issue then samsung malaysia replace with brand new tv instead of repair

yes only for smartphone , is your tv stil under warranty? Samsung india offer replacement screen for those model that already out of warranty.

Ok now I've got it, you mean after warranty, usually most of the manufacturers in malaysia after warranty need to pay, never heard they will give foc replacement

Because samsung flagship S series have too much of green line problem , without human error like drop or water damage , just a simply software update causes the green line appear , that the reason why alot of loyal customer getting angry when India Samsung taking care their customer well but malaysia samsung is like not taking it serious , maybe our market is just a peanut for them , and that the reason why i left samsung after so many year of samsung fan.

If its not samsung screen manufacture or design problem , impossible samsung india will offer "FREE" replacement because as we know , not even 1 company in this world today will FOC replacement that already over warranty if not casuses by their problem. Really how sad as a loyal samsung fan for so many year when we know that samsung malaysia choose to silent for this case.

actually they could offer like 50% discount or more for the user that already over the warranty to replace the green line screen if they dont want to bear the full cost , and i believe we as consumer will stil happy to enjoy some discount for it.

I see alot of vivo user saying that Vivo malaysia stil offer for replacement screen for green line issues for their 3-4 year old flagship device that using the samsung screen.....that sad

Got 1 guy lucky got free replacement for his S22 in S22 thread. Not sure what voodoo he use to convince Samsung to replace for him FOC.

🥲 my s22 also giving funny green lines this month.

Talk to supervisor at Samsung SC, last time we did that for S3 and our Office Tablet Ax series, one to one change somemore.

No more Samsung for me. My S22U is last. My Fold 5 I'm using it as an alarm clock cos the charging is very very slow
