Anything with Shopee Mall, no need to worry one la. Confirm 100000% genuine item.

Lets say, if, a really big IF, you get a wrong/fake item, you can return and request for refund without any additional charges. Very easy to deal with shopee mall.

but u can easily find the seller by checking similar product with similar pricing. in any case, as the rest of bros' advice, dun buy RAM online especially shxpxx as they are mostly fake.

i initiated a refund/return request. it was approved. now going the stage o returning the item. However, i am not sure if i will really get back the refund after i return the item.

If not shopee mall, then you need to deal with the seller for refund. If you is the scammer, will you entertain the refund?

For shopee mall, you can return, no question ask and you dont need the approval from seller. Just initiate refund, go to the courier that you select and drop the item. Thats it.

yeah. i also only heard about this brand recently. my first powerbank brand is xiaomi. obviously yoobao is even earlier than them.

i dun mind trying out other brands as long as they are reliable.

bought this from them. it has 3 ports, plug usb-c (for charging the power bank) and it supports fast charging for my iphone. looks not bad. hope it is good.

is yoobao considered not branded?

to be fair, i only received the comments from fellow bros here which it is likely to be fake. however, i could not be 100% sure.

conclusion: if anyone is buying a RAM, dun buy online especially online store such as shopee. as suggested by most bros here, just go to reliable physical shops to buy instead.

Mall status is very easy to get for oversea seller.
I bought cheapo tablet with freee upgrade 12GB ram 1TB space but its actually fake specs.

return via shopee courier is free, however, i kena before that i am asked to pay for the shipping label even though it is stated free by shopee. not sure if anyone of you encounter similar situation before.

this is the worrying part about shopping on shopee. we do not know whether we will encounter sellers selling fake products. consumers are not even protected at all. sad.

For shopee mall, confirm its free. Have return 4-5 items before, all is free. Just go to the courier, pass your item to them, open your shopee app and get them scanned the barcode, and thats it, done.

Now Shopee does not allow direct refund deal with seller anymore.
U have to raise refund and shopee will evaluate first (asking ridiculous proof) before they approve, then seller has to accept or dispute. Then only can refund/return.
But the good thing is shopee can decide return or refund without return.

yeah, same. first started using xiami. after that i tried brand like baseus - so so only although price is also cheap. the ports after a while will become problematic which if i plug in the cable, it will charge a while and stop. need to press the button to start the charging again, or need to plug in and out the cable for it to work. same for xiaomi also.

that's why i would like to try other brands. after all, the price is quite similar among these brands.

Yoobao was one of the premium reliable power bank during the early days, way before xiaomi pb is out.

Very very reliable and their capability to keep the power is very good. But its a bit pricey that time. So when the first xiaomi pb is out, the 10k mah one (where we need to rush to snap it everyday on 12noon ), yoobao start to lose sales as their pb price is still on the high side. Xiaomi pb was way cheaper.

Nope, you are wrong. You can deal with the seller first. And if seller accept refund, just raise the refund req and remarks: done aligned with seller. Shopee will then approve it.

ic. i initiated the return/refund request at 19:47 and shopee approved the request at 19:51. is this fishy?

so now i am at the stage of returning. what is the chance of getting back the refund after returning the item.

i already prepared for the worst case scenario that i might not get back my $ and it will be a lesson learnt for me.

Ayam thought Baseus was gooding, their powerbank can lasts around 2-3 years time before it only able to keep like 30% capacity only (70% batt but actually 0% liao)
Already 3 powerbank dieded now ayam losing faith.

Baseus 140W charger even worst 2 of it kong within 1 month. Plug in wall turn on switch and poof thats all. Totally lost faith for Baseus charger

Ayam going back to Ugreen now and evaluating Rocoren.
Recently bought 65W Rocoren charger feels quite good not too hot and feel solid and priced between RM40-RM50 (Lazada sale) its gooding i bought 3 units.

For charging cables ayam going for Ugreen, Baseus, Rocoren, and Kuula.

You are wasting your time here by going this procedure. Shopee approve already, but now is pending for seller to approve.

Thats why i say, its better to deal with seller. If seller refuse for refund, even if shopee approve it, its just a waste of time, as seller will use whatever they have to dispute you.

Yes, chat with the seller and tell them the problem you are facing. Attach some photos, then see what is their response.

If they agree to refund, then just raise the refund request and remarks that you already deal with seller for the refund.

If they dont agree, then you left with only 2 options: 1st is to admit that you got scammed and just let it go. 2nd is to continue request the refund and let the shopee handle it (like what you are doing now), but it will take very long time.

For J&T for Shopee return is FOC, if branch charges u ask for receipt complaint to Shopee they will give u free voucher as compensation.
For other courier for Shopee return ownself have to print.

For Lazada return all courier u have to ownself print. If u print at branch sure have to pay.

and importantly, he even opened the sealed package of the powerbank to show me the item and try the fast charging even though i did not even request that. i even tot him not to open but he insisted to open.

Nope, i just return lazada item last week. J&T branch. FOC and dun need to print anything. They print for u.

Lazada themselves LEX. others not sure. Recently I returned a bladeless fan, they assigned a third party private car for collection even though I chose Lex as return courier

i kena before. i bought a vacuum cleaner from the P brand (common brand that is known). from official shopee store online.

when i received it. the box of the item was badly worn and torn which i totally could not accept it and returned to them initially.

while i agree that buying online is good especially for most online platform we can easily return the item due to various issues, but in the end we can potentially receive unknown item (not brand new) from seller.

i did complain to shopee. but they were asking about the proof.
i did a voice recording while i was speaking to the courier branch which i was asked to pay rm1. during the conversation, i had asked them to provide me with a receipt which they promised to send me via whatsapp after i left. however, they did not do so. then in the end i do not have the proof to show shopee about my complaint.

Currently i am using ugreen powerbank. I bought a 10k and choose ugreen cos of the compact size. Very small and light for a 10k mah one. So far so good. Ugreen is famous for being high quality at a reasonable/cheap price.

Once I went to Xiaomi shop in Seremban. They display only Xiaomi phones. I just want to test Poco X4 GT.

Then I asked for Poco, they said don't have display. Then the sales lady went inside and brought the box and I said no need to unseal, I'm not sure buying yet.. but she insisted saying it's ok. Then I test the phone, returned it back to her. Didn't buy at all. So I was wondering the same too, what will they do with that set?

Likely that they have their ways to seal back the item to sell as brand new. I dun think any shop will be so ‘kind’ to to sell as display set. If it is labelled as display set, it means the shop must sell it at much cheaper price so to make ppl buying it rite? I doubt any shop will just do like that. every single customer they met they just open it to show him/her and they lost profit immediately? I highly doubt this.

I recently went to a home fair. I saw an older model of Sony tv was selling at much cheaper price and the salesperson told me that it is brand new which I had double confirmed with him that. However, when I probe further about the box condition etc. He told me that the item will be shipped from their branch in KL. Before they do so, they need to ensure that the item is good before shipping so they will open the box to check? How could it be? Why would a shop open a brand new item in box just to do the ‘checking’ before shipping. Then I checked back Lowyat forum here only noticed that there are shops selling demo set item as brand new either online or via platform like Shopee. Then Sony tv has the feature to check the actual running time of the tv, then the buyer noticed that it is actually not brand new. So I also learnt that if u are buying a old model of tv, likely that it is not brand new especially if u are buying from the authorised dealers which many of them are not honest at all. Unless u are really buying a current model which the chance of getting a brand new will then only be higher.

Boleh je beli online. Just from reputable store or physical store that also has online shops.

2. Check if the shop is the same with the one in the image. I had cases where my friend say "Samsung official store" in the image and he thinks it's legit, but the shop name clearly show it's fake

Yes that shop sells genuine yoobao powerbanks. The one i bought was a bit pricey back then, but lasted years. But I dunno how the quality is nowadays.
