How is this compared to Fiber Broadband? I'm on Time 100mbps and thinking if I should jump over.

In my home, Maxis 5G signal on my phone seems to be consistently at >300mbps whenever I run a speedtest.

Is anyone using this with the bundled router? How stable is it, assuming your location have good 5G signal?

UMobile gives different routers to different people?

What are the current models they have and can we request for our preferred model?

Currently I am on Time Fiber 200mbps paying RM99 per month.

However, the speed/stability in the farther rooms are not that great due to walls/distance (but still stable and useable). Even my PC, is using WiFi connected and there is no fiber connection to any device.

I see Umobile has 5G broadband at RM68. Seems like I can save quite a bit a month and have the flexibility to place the router in a more central location which should offer better speeds.

But is 5G broadband stable enough? At the moment, Time Fiber broadband has never failed me for nearly 5 years, WFH is also smooth. Can I expect the same from 5G Broadband?

Note: If I get U Home 5G, I will be using their bundled router.

Does anyone use U Home 5G in a condominium with their stock router. How is the performance and experience like?

The free router is given randomly, or you can choose it?
