U have to compensate the balance notice. For your case..u have to compensate 1 and half month of your salary

U are not getting a cent for the days that you work until last day. If you have leave also burn to pay notice in liue that's it

Pls note you are creating inconvenience to your company. It's impossible to hire, onboard train. Get system. Ready in two weeks. That's why company have the two month noticed. I am very sure your new company can wait if they really want you.

Be mindful if I am the boss, if you do this two weeks notice with Ur current boss high changes you will do the same with the new company. U decide what perception you want to create for your new company.

Then pay compensation in lieu of notice.
Since your notice is 2 months and you want to leave in 2 weeks, then pay 1.5 months salary to your employer.

That's what I did last time.
My new employer wanted me to join them in 1 month and my notice period is 2 months.
My new employer paid my old employer for the short notice and they accepted it.
