It's not Kryonaut issue, it's more of my laptop fan issue where when it tries to spin more than 80%, it screeches then stop spinning

I think the fan is failing, need to replace it

I forgot to mention that the "value" temperatures is taken during idle
With the PTM7950, the fans never have to ramp up to more than 80% so my laptop never overheats unlike with Kryonaut

So the heat conducting still seems better with PTM7950 despite both test carried with a broken fan

How laptop fan ramp up according to your cpu temp, if your cpu felt hot it will keep ramping up its speed because the heat doesn't get transferred efficiently to the heat pipe which goes to heat sink, the fan keep running without the anticipated heat for it to disperse.

it definitely is because with PTM7950 the fan speed never go beyond 80%
My laptop is also a lot quieter now

No, still using the old one
New fan ordered from Taobao, haven’t arrived yet

Can’t wait to apply PTM7950 on my wife’s ASUS TUF A16 (year 2021)
It’s still using the stock thermal paste

That'll be interesting! TUF heat up a lot
