no it dont work in Windows
windows iptv app usually run m3u, ts and mp3 and mp4 codec code.
In windows you can use stbenu app and it playlist.
This app is built by chinese developer which run m3u, ts, p2p, rstp rsmp mp3 mitv and many other code using ijk codec.
For windows you can use this app in emulator like bluestack or x86 os.

Wanted to ask for the given m3u link, is it normal for a channel to stop playing halfway and then it buffers and continue again, or sometimes stopped playing at all?

And sometimes the speed drops to 0 and the app just skips to the next channel..

Got it installed in a Realme TV stick..

Which app you are using.

For m3u playlist this situation happen quite often. When a server hosting the m3u playlist is not of high quality usually for free hosting or low cost hosting this will happen
the reason is a m3u or ts playlist is like a mp3 or mp4 playlist if it is a one off playlist it will play till the end but for iptv user can watch for hours and as such the
playlist cannot be holding a big files and play the whole file, so to keep on playlist the m3u will play for a buffering file until it end to switch to the next file to continue
it is when the switching time that the loading of buffering occur or the link break and the app when from the m3u playlist is off switch to the next playlist.
it drop to 0 is bec the loading take too long and time up and the app switch.

if it is the server fault there is nothing much you can do except to allow bigger buffer space for capturing the next playlist or to use different codec if your app allow.

I am using a free server to host my playlist link too, however i am using chinese app which use high level codec which play many type of codec and support many type of
playlist such as p2p, mitv. rstp, rmtp as well as m3u and ts files and the playlist is written in txt format not m3u format. txt format load faster.

I receive many playlist type to extract those link from telegram group, some are m3u playlist and i need to convert to txt format, some json format and some from mag code (stalker portal - you are unable to read playlink for stalker portal link because it is lock by the mac id without using special tools)
With all those link and will collate it into my own m3u ( actually txt format) and use it in my own DIY player which i can only say is decently good.

Hi All
For those who follow this thread, i have introduce iptv extreme, ott navigator, ott player and then i turn to chinese DIYP and TV and TVbox app
and test out the various and play with those iptv and know their pro and con.

Today, i have found another iptv which should be of special interest for those that have m3u playlist but find them lagging when stream.
This app will resolve this issue and with this i think i will make diy iptv much much more interesting

Below is what you can get
As for IPTV here is another very powerful iptv player which is found in google playstore
I have found a iptv player that has some what minimise this problem

It is found in google playstore and is name IPTV proxy

Enjoy IPTV without interruptions, repetitions, losses, freezes or lags.
However, their stalker portal module is not working otherwise it will make a perfect iptv player and the built in player dont play many iptv codec and potocol such as mitv, p2p and others But it handle m3u and TS very well with their built-in proxy (you can earn proxy time by watching ads)

IPTVProxy has a decisive advantage over all other IPTV players : it's the only one to integrate a local proxy for MPEG-TS and HLS protocols.
This built-in proxy enables high-reliability playback of live channels (without interruptions, repetitions, losses, freezes or lags).

IPTVProxy include a powerfull video player
• Full hardware acceleration
• Use native 4K and 8K on Android TV
• Video enhancement (HDR, motion interpolation, up sizing)

IPTVProxy can play live IPTV channels (MPEG-TS or HLS), VOD, Series, Replay, video and audio files on your Android devices (phones, tablets or TVs) or cast them to Chromecast.

Features :
• Highly efficient exclusive IPTV proxy for uninterrupted playback
• Powerfull internal video player
• Can use third-party external video players
• Electronic program guide (EPG, TV Guides)
• Replay when supported by playlist (Catch up, timeshift, archive)
• Cast to Chromecast
• Picture-in-picture mode (PiP)
• Contextual search filter with substitution characters (* and ?)
• Resizable grid
• Stalker and Xtream Codes API support for downloading your playlists
• HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP and SMB protocols
• With SMB (samba) protocol, you can access your playlists on your PC or on your network-attached storage (NAS)
• Sortable launch list
• Allows you to create playlists trees
• Support for M3U and M3U8 playlist files
• Support Stalker and Xtream Codes playlists
• Support for MPEG-TS (.ts) and HLS (.m3u8) live channels
• Supports most video and audio formats
• Multilingual (over 100 languages)

NB: This app doesn't contain any build-in channels, you should have your own playlist and/or provider account.

You mean the DIYP app playlist http://0tt118....
no it dont but i can make it work by converting the txt playlist into m3u playlist, however some of the playlist link dont work
bec it is in mitv, p2p, rstp and other codec format.

In any case, the trick in this app is the builtin proxy server which help you to buffer the stream and make it smoother, which is
good, but over the last few days, i have test it out and it is good on most days but when there are live game when many users using the iptvproxy
app, Their server is overloaded and all the playlist got struck.

Now, i am going back to my chinese app with can play my playlist and also provide a proxy setting (look for your proxy or setup your own)
This app does play my playlist and also have a proxy setting and i have since found a good proxy and which i am testing so far so good better than
iptvproxy.

Link to the app but this app need mouse to navigate or touch screen, dont work with remote control.

http://sendanywhe.re/17UYC3BW

Download installed and try it out, the loading of the playlist take a little bit of time.

Bros, is ok, just share what i know also by playing with the various app and learning how certain thing work.
It has come along way since i started learning how to write m3u script till today playing with VPN server, proxy server
even trying hosting my own video for m3u playlist.

Lots to learn, but if you just want some enjoyment such as iptv, it is not so difficult.
Ask your questions, i will try to share my experience or find out more for you and myself too.

Bros

The first thing to do is installed the app into your tv.

Signup for an account

If you have a m3u playlist in your drive just setup the iptv link to the file

if not the m3u from a link just setup and point to the link

or if you want to share the m3u load it to a server can be free server and point the link to the server
and anyone that have that link can use the same playlist.

Once that is done you are ready to stream those channels in the playlist

Goodluck bros, find the m3u link and you can start enjoying

Hi bro,

Downloaded OTTplayer on samsung smart tv. And added playlist to it. Some channels can watch some cant. Especially tvb jade. Is there any stable tvb jade to watch from?

Most of the m3u i get from this site https://github.com/iptv-org/iptv.

Saw your other post on IPTV proxy. Will this be better than ottplayer?

Thank you for your input.

you have not much choice as samsung hisense os support only limited application.

If is it google tv than you have more choice.

Android os support lots of app which support iptv app that support other protocol and codec.

Just hang on for now

There is a few new release which dont need mouse to navigate and can be sideload into smart tv and control using the tv remote.

here is the link for the app to be download, i believe it can also be use for those subscripted iptv services.

https://down.fongmi.eu.org/#download

Goodluck and enjoy
